Wray is a city in Yuma County
Colorado, named for John Wray or possibly his brother James Thomas Wray.
The population as of the 2000 census was 2187. Wray CO is the county
seat of Yuma County.
Wray, CO features an elaborate museum for such a small town. The Smithsonian Institution has created an extensive plaeo-Indian exhibit at the museum, which is one of the only permanent Smithsonian exhibits outside of Washington DC. Return to HOME <<<

allowing a close working relationship. The School Mascot is the Eagles
for High School and the Eaglets for the lower grades. The School colors
